Pathao is on the lookout for passionate and driven individuals to join as Senior Executive/Executive – Merchant Acquisition in the Fintech Department. This role focuses on generating leads, building client relationships, and focusing on Merchant Onboarding. The individual will also play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing accounts, and achieving sales targets.
The incumbent will be responsible to:
- Identify and approach potential merchants, present the benefits of our fintech products, and secure new partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing merchants to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape in the fintech industry
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve acquisition targets
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and integration for new merchants
- Achieve weekly and monthly targets
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, merchant feedback, and market insights to inform strategic decisions
- Provide training and support to merchants to help them effectively use our products and services
- Ensure all merchant acquisition activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies
The incumbent should bring along:
- At least 1-2 year of experience in sales, business development or merchant acquisition role, preferably in the fintech industry
- Graduation from any reputed university in any discipline
- Competency in analytical thinking & report developing
- Proficiency in CRM software and G-Suite collaboration tools
- Ability to understand and explain complex fintech products
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
