Cinematographer

Pathao is looking for a creative and versatile Cinematographer who can bring ideas to life on screen. This person will be responsible for the entire production cycle, from ideation and storyboarding to filming, editing, and delivering high-quality visual content. This role requires someone who can shoot and edit cinematic videos, produce engaging reels, and create visual stories that strengthen our brand image.

The incumbent will have the responsibility to:

• Work with the creative team as the main DOP to brainstorm, script, and visualize concepts for campaigns, reels, and brand stories.
• Plan and execute shoots, ensuring professional use of lighting, framing, and advanced camera systems to deliver cinematic results.
• Shoot short-form, high-engagement content optimized for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Conduct official photoshoots for campaigns, team profiles, events, and product features (if needed).
• Ensure all visual outputs align with the brand’s identity, tone, and storytelling goals.
• Maintain camera gear, lighting, and audio equipment, ensuring everything is production-ready.
  

The incumbent should bring along:

• 1-2 years proven experience as a cinematographer, or creative video producer
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand campaigns, reels, or cinematic video work
• Skilled in lighting design, sound editing, and camera operation
• Ability to ideate creatively while also being hands-on with execution
• Strong understanding of social media content trends and formats
• Excellent time management and ability to deliver under deadlines
• Photography skills (portrait, product, and event shoots) will be an added advantage
• Experience in video editing and color grading
• Experience with drone shooting will be an added advantage
